Fundraising projects offer a simple way for you to leave your mark on the ECHHS community. Consider supporting these amazing projects to directly help students in achieving the optimal high school experience. All causes have been carefully examined by ECHHS staff to ensure that your money is being put to the best use possible. Read below to learn more about fundraising projects and how they are impacting ECHHS.
WHY WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT
Our mission is to improve the East community through alumni involvement.
Given district funds for campus improvement are limited, the ECHHS Alumni Association offers the means for alumni to leave an impact on their alma matter by donating to campus beautification projects. We make improving the lives of students who walked the same halls as you a simple and effective process. By contributing to one of our initiatives, you can leave a lasting impact on East Chapel Hill High School.
Fundraising projects are selected in consultation with East students, teachers, and administration to maximize impact on the East community. Each project is managed by the ECHHS Alumni Association Board of Directors.
In addition to campus beautification efforts, the ECHHS alumni association relies on donations to support its regular operations, ranging from web hosting to event costs.
Since the alumni association is in the process of gaining 501(c)(3) status, we cannot currently offer tax deductions on direct donations. If you would like to donate to one of our initiatives but would require a tax deduction, please contact us so we can arrange a solution.

If you are interested in having a name engraved on an element of East's campus or a specific item dedicated to a person, business, cause, or family, the team at the East Alumni Association would be happy to assist in making your idea a reality.
