GENERAL FUND

The ECHHS Alumni Association traces its roots to early 2022 when a group of students and teachers convened to address possible solutions to form a brighter and more community-based atmosphere around East. Identifying a lack of alumni involvement, the group then set out to form an alumni association. 

Immediately, the initiative was warmly received by alumni across all classes, and the association soon morphed into a large movement pursuant to a diverse array of initiatives. The scale of the alumni association quickly caused it to incur a variety of repeated expenses. Thus, the General Fund was formed to support these initiatives, fuel the association's growth, and magnify its impact. 

• Nonprofit filing fees
• Web platform and domain fees
• P.O. Box
• Meeting expenses for the Student Leadership Team
• Front-end costs for school fundraisers such as the valentines day bake sale and prom corsage sale

After receiving many requests, we are seeking to expand our reach to include in person events such as reunions and homecoming get-togethers. Of course, these events will require significant funding on the front end, requiring support from the General Fund. 

• Ensure the alumni association can continur carrying out its mission of building greater community through alumni involvement
• Support the growth of the association into new domains such as in person events
